Suicide and Redemption is the ninth track from Metallica's ninth album Death Magnetic. It was written by all band members: James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo.

"Suicide and Redemption" is the first instrumental track since 1988's "To Live Is To Die" from the album ...And Justice For All. Clocking in at 9:59, this is the longest song on the album, and one of the longest songs by Metallica to date.
