
No Life 'til Leather is a demo by Metallica recorded on July 6, 1982. It was recorded at Chateau East Studio in Tustin, California[1]. It is the band's most famous demo in which it was responsible for giving the band some exposure.
Ron McGovney played bass on the demo before he left the band and Cliff Burton was hired shortly after, giving the reason why Burton is credited.
