More Than This is a song featured on the Presidio demos recorded sometime between 2002 and 2003.

During this time, vocalist James Hetfield was absent, as he was undergoing rehab. This song at the time was merely a demo, it was in it's very early stages. Sometime in 2002, rapper and hip-hop artist Ja Rule approached Lars Ulrich and Kirk Hammett with an idea to make a collaboration with the band. "More Than This" was chosen by Ulrich and Hammett to use in the collaboration with Ja Rule. Parts of this song are featured and can still be heard in Ja Rule's song, "We Did It Again". The band never did record with Ja Rule, but more or less "gave" him the material to work with.
