Aerosmith is an American hard rock '70s through modern band formed in Boston, MA. Aerosmith was formed by the singer, Steven Tyler and lead guitarist, Joe Perry. Other members are the bassist, Tom Hamilton, Brad Whitford the rhythm guitarist, and the drummer, Joey Kramer. They started playing at Boston's Nipmuc High School in the early '70s. In 1979, while playing at the Orpheum Theater of Boston, Joe and Tom brought their girlfriends, but they all got in an unexplained fight, causing Joe to leave the band, oddly, this was the same year Ozzy Osbourne was kicked out of Black Sabbath. In 1984 Joe Perry returned to Aerosmith and rose as one of the best bands in classic rock history and are known for their songs "Sweet Emotion", "Jaded", "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", "Toys in the Attic", and "Love in an Elevator". James Hetfield's main interest as a child was Aerosmith.
